    Micah

So my 2nd is due any day now and it's most likely a girl. We've had both a 3-D u/s and a regular u/s tech tell us it's a girl. However, I just want to be prepared because I know mistakes happen. The names we've come up w/ for boys are Logan or Micah. The problem w/ Logan is that I have a cousin who's 10 year old son is named Logan. I don't see this boy a lot but it would be confusing when we are all together. So Micah is our first choice. My question to you all is this: would Micah be shortened to Mike? Because our last name is Brown and I really hate the "normal" name of Mike Brown. Do any of you know of Micahs that are shortened? Thanx a lot. Hopefully this bun pops out a girl and this is all for nothing but I would like some feedback... just in case!

I have never known Micah to be shortened to Mike. I know a girl named this and a boy. Congrats!

I've heard of Michael's being shortened to Micah but never Micah to mike. It's actually one of the names I like all my kids start with M...

Well the point is moot now because our DAUGHTER, Teaghan Elsbeth May, was born Sept 19th. And now I'm DONE!!!
