    Makes me nervous news.

Well, I've been MIA from a computer and work since being put on bedrest. Luckily, I'm allowed up now as long as I maintained a decreased activity level. At my 18 week check up I was told by the Doc that I have placenta previa and high amniotic fluid, 22. The placenta previa he said is early so will more than likely correct itself but I have to go back in 2 weeks to have my fluids checked again. I looked up what it meant to have high amniotic fluid and now have made myself neurotic. It's so frickin' scary. Until I know anything for sure i"m trying not to worry but how do you not? I should have known better than to do my own research!! I have to go for my glucose screen and a prenat screening, which I guess is for genetic defects. Hopefully all goes well with all of that. we did find out we are having a boy though.

well congrats o the boy. I'm sorry that you are having to go through this and I hope your placenta previa corrects itself. It must be so hard to be on bedrest all that time!

My friend had this and be sure you do as the doc says. She and the baby turned out fine. Keep thinking as positive as you can! Hang in there. Melanie
