    scared to have sex...

I'm almost 9 weeks pregnant, and last night my boyfriend and i had sex, it makes me nervous i'm so afraid that i'm going to hurt the baby or something. I read about this thing that happens i forget the exact term but it was something about an air pocket, while having sex...and although i feel like that is pretty hard to have happen i'm just afraid. Plus on top of it all i feel disgusting, i feel chunky and gross, is this normal? :( i dunno i'm just down about it all

Was it an air embolism by any chance? Some pregnancy books suggest avoiding oral sex, just incase by some weird chance your partner blows air into your vagina and it causes the air embolism. Unless your care providers tell you not to, regular sex is just fine. And things get better in the second trimester, just hang in there a few weeks.

And yes, we all feel chunky and gross. :o) Atleast most of us. Especially if you're thin before pregnancy, it really sucks to have that belly that's just chubby and you feel like you look fat rather than pregnant. I think you'll find that as you get more a "pregnant" belly, you'll feel better. I can't stand the first few months when I just jiggle, but I always love my big round belly that shows up later on.
