  am i gross? Reply Contact Hi everyone! My husband and I are expecting our second baby boy and are very excited but he has and issue with having sex with me while im pregnant. When i was prego with our first child who is now 2, we didn't have sex after i began to really show. It has been the same this time. He says its because it is weird to have sex with me because there is a baby inside me and thats all that he can think about. I cant help but feel like i am a total turn off to him. When im not pregnant i am thin and i can't help but wonder if my new body grosses him out. does anyone else have any of the same issues with their partner? when im not pregnant my hubby and i have a very healthy sex life!

  Re: am i gross? Reply Contact Hi - ABSOLUTELY NOT! I am 17 weeks PG. My partner and I find other ways of satisfying each other and doesnt like gettting on top anymore - all he can think about is hurting the baby and me. Its a natural thing and it's not just you. The baby is in the fuilds which he / she is clearly protected. The only time you should worry is if you are discharging, etc.... I too find using other devices such as vibrators enjoyable.

Reply Contact I'm sorry I can't relate LOL.  However; if you really feel like he is unattracted to your body, you should look into ways that might make him want to do the touchy feely things that can still help you reap the benefits of sex during pregnancy.  Those contractions during orgasm are great practice for your uterus.  Plus the connection is irreplaceable.  If you still want to have sex try and wear lingerie that accents your belly and maybe that will help him.  I don't understand why some men can't have sex with their wives when they're pregnant, I just don't get it.  Unless you're on pelvic rest there is no reason why you can't have sex.

Reply Contact Unfortnantly it is just the way some men are.  Sometimes it takes the man going to the dr appointment and the dr telling the husband that no harm can come from having sex.  For some that still doesnt work....  Some men dont like the changes that go on down there the further along you get, while others are just absolutly thrilled.  If he is one of those types of men who are fairly set in his ways and likes things just the way they are typically have a little bit of a hard time adjusting to the changes our bodies undergo during this time.  Just know that you are not alone and you may have to invest in some sexual toys until after the baby is born.  But try to talk to him and let him know how you feen and listen to how he feels and hopefully you two can works something out. Reply Contact My thoughts...a man could loose the desire for sex for acouple of reasons,...In our case at the beginning, he was worried about hurting the baby.  I'm now almost 30 weeks PG and after getting advise from our doc, my hubby is all over me...we practice many positions ...the vibrator is still one of them along with oral sex which is perfectly fine with me!  We also practice many different positions that we had never done before which is also nice to experiment.
