I see a cardiologist regularly for similar issues. It is scary but if you can relax, it'll help the rate to come down. It's good that your heart sounds normal. They may put a 24 hr monitor on, just to check the rhythm and see how you are doing. Inderal is good, it's a beta-blocker, and it may make you a little tired, and possibly lower your blood pressure, which right now at 15 weeks it's going to lower anyway. So watch that, you may get dizzy. I am 17 weeks and I have that happen all the time, even use a wheelchair if I need to be on my feet for any stretch of time. Would much rather do that than stay in bed! Make sure you are drinking enough fluids, because being dehydrated at all will make your HR go up and could set you into SVT. Feel free to PM anytime if you have any questions or need to talk. Hang in there! Just remember it's what the dr wants you to do to make sure you have a safe and healthy pregnancy and baby. And, that's the best reason in the world
