anyone with placenta privia or low lying?

I have a low lying placenta, which is very close on the right side to the cervix, so far i am told it most likely means cesarian but no decisions have been made yet. Next ultrasound at week 37, not sure if i will make it that far.

Hi Camilia, I dont have one but am well educated on this issue, the main thing that I can tell you is to do as the dr have instructed, have plenty of pelvic rest no heavy lifting nothing over 10lbs. Have a little faith, for some women the placenta moves up in the last month so keep hope that yours may do that. For the others as unfortunant as it is not have a vaginal birth a c/section is not the end of the earth, and even though you may have to have one there will be a good chance that if you go on to have more babies you can have them vaginaly. I am truely sorry that you are having to go through this concern so late in the pregnancy, but I think it will all work out. If you are worried about giving birth before your next u/s, try to drink plenty of water or fluids, replenish your electrolytes as much as possible, with gatorade, powerade or water that is inhanced with electrolytes. Keep your feet elevated as much as possible and get as much rest as you can get. Best of luck to you.

I had one of those but mine moved up on it's own with the growth of my belly. I hope you don't have to have a c-section
