I would wait on getting your tubes tied. After my 2nd c section I was SOOOO done. Well, here I am 4 years later pg again as we changed our mind. So please, that is a big decision to make. There are other bc options that can be used. Good Luck.

Re: questions about planned c section

Hi Teresa. I've had 2 previous planned c-sections and planning my 3rd. Both my experiences where a little different. The first- Once the doc thought I was breach (3 weeks before my due date) I went to the hospital for a version, where they try to turn the baby from the outside (very painful). Since that didn't work and made me dilate 3 cm in 15 minutes, they told me to come in the next day for a c-section. I arrived at the hospital 2 hours before the scheduled time, sat around for 20 minutes, changed into the gown, they asked me a bunch of questions, then they took to into another room to get "prepped." Then they gave me an IV, shaved me(which I learned was better when you do it yourself), gave me a hat to wear, then wheeled me in. When I got into to surgery room, they had me sit on the edge of the table to do the spinal and lean on a nurse(its hard to breathe when your in that position). When they do the spinal, to me, it hurt really bad, I felt scrapping in my back, but as soon as it was done I was completely numb. then they did the catheter, once that was in The baby was out at 1:45 PM. So I was only waiting from 10AM to about 2:30PM. The Second- Was pretty much the same except, I knew what to expect and the spinal took longer to take affect. I was waiting about the same amount of time and I shaved myself which was way better and I did have an anxiety attack cause I felt the pressure of them cutting me, but you kinda forget all of that when you hear your baby cry for the first time. I dont remember much, but I was really cold and they brought me blankets straight from the heater which was awesome. Just do your best to stay calm and before you know it, it will be over and you'll have your beautiful bundle of joy !

Hi guys I'm planning my second csection and my first was for failing to progress I'm so scared of the spinal because last time I had those terrible contractions to distract me when I got it also I wanted to ask ... I'm also having a hernia repaired during the csection has anyone been through this how does the procedure go and will it be longer until I can see my baby? If you have any advice for me that would be so great I'm so scared and worried
