Sorry I was gone for too long. I hope you all exuse me...

I came here once then I totally forgot of this grup of girls I apologize. Well I had my emergent cerclage put in on May 1st. I was 5 cm dilated and the Dr said he doesn't know how he did it. I'm so thankful and feel like it was a miracle rigth there.... I'm still on bed rest but he said I can walk around the house here and there, so it hasn't been too  bad. I also go out for a ride in the car with husband but I avoid to get out and walk for to long. I haven't had any bleeding or anything abnormal. Some discharge but looks like the discharge I had before the cerclage, nothing different. I had some mild cramping but I think is cause the baby was kicking hard down there, the Dr told me to just take it easy and hope that it wasn't signs of labor cause there was nothing they can do.... Fortunatly they went away and the baby stoped kicking down there..... I have an appt to check how I'm doing this coming Thursday, I'll be 22 W 4 D. I will update you all....

I feel so much better though to be 22 w 2 d now and know that I will be out of the Danger Zone, in less than 2 weeks....

Hi, welcome back! I am so glad to hear you and your baby are doing well. You look great! Keep up the good work and the weeks will pass by faster and faster. I find the closer I get (I will be 32 w tomorrow!) the less anxious I am and the more comfortable about my pregnancy I become. Great news...thanks for letting us know.

So glad to see you and the baby doing well. Although we all are blessed, you are truly blessed. To have been dialated at 5 cm alot of doctors would not have done the procedure. I know when I have my rescue cerclage at 18 weeks my bag was broken during the procedure (which is a great risk for rescue cerclages). So you are truly blessed. Take it easy. Everyday of bedrest keeps that baby in. I know it is hard, but like Ruth said, it gets better as you continue to reach your milestones. I pray everyday for another week. Although I know if my baby was born it will have a chance to live, I strive and pray to make it to full term. I do not want to go through those NICU's and long days...I know that it is emotionally difficult. Stay positive and keep that baby in. We are all here for each other.Keep in touch. Carmen 27 weeks 8th week of bedrest.
