I had a homebirth VBAC after two cesareans just over two years ago. My first was a planned cesarean due to a birth defect she had. My second was a 'failed' (sabotaged) VBAC attempt where I was flat out lied to about my progression & her position to get me to consent to a repeat cesarean after a long labor. I was told she was too big to drop into my pelvis to dilate me properly (8 lbs 13 oz). I suffered from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, all avoidably. Less than two years after that, after a longer labor, I pushed out my 9 lb 10 oz son with both hands by his head in my spare bedroom at home over a completely intact perineum. There are lots of women who've had VBACs after more than one cesarean. Especially because you've had a previous vaginal birth, that helps increase your chances of success & decrease the chances of complications. Check out www.plus-size-pregnancy.org (not just for plus sized moms!) for lots of VBAmC (Vaginal Birth After Multiple Cesarean) stories, & ICAN www.ican-online.org for more info & support. Let me know if you need anything. I don't get on these forums much anymore, but you can email me directly at LNCooper83 @ yahoo.com if there's any info or support you're needing. Good luck!
