    belly band after c-section

has anyone had a belly band put on after their c-section? does the hospital provide them or do I have to buy one? how successful was it in the recovery? my first c-section was horrible I was in the hospital for an entire week and i had so much pain in my lower abdomen, i've also heard that it helps with losing the belly fat a little faster.

I'm not sure about any of that but in case you need to get one, I bought tube tops,(little elastic tops the cover the bossom area for $3.99 each in every color to match my blouse r pants color I would be wearing, as my stomach was growing and didn't want to purchase more maternity clothes and took the belly band back to the store since I could buy 5 for the price of one "belly band" and to reinforce the "tightness" and strength for my pants that wouldn't zip or button, I put 2 on at the same time. I may still use them after my c-section,too. Hope you find the specific answer though, regarding belly bands helping ya out post c-section.
