Postpartum Hemorrhage (sp?)

Does anyone have this concern?

I have delivered 3 babies, and experienced postpartum hemorrhage following the births of my last two. I don't know what causes it, or if there is anything I can do to prevent it during pregnancy. I see a new OB later this month and plan to ask LOTS of questions. But I was wondering if anyone else experiences this.
