I got my BFP on Father's Day, so the baby's nickname is "Happy"- as in "Happy Father's Day!" DH & I had been TTC since last June. We did conceive last September, but sadly that pregnancy did not progress. So far everything seems to be going well. We conceived 8 LONG cycles post m/c.

My hubby and I are so excited, we have waited a long time to have our first baby and now it is finally going to happen. I am 5 weeks along and hoping everything will go well. It is so hard to not tell everyone that I am pregnant but I also don't want to have to tell everyone if I lose the pregnancy so we are playing it safe for now. I have my first MD appt next week and I can't wait to find out how everything is going. My EDD is 5/21/10- the first day of spring :)

  Re: Introductions and EDD's Reply Contact I'm Nicole from Michigan. Tentatively due March 20th!!!! :-) I got my first BFP at 12 dpo and it was shocking!! We had tried for about a year before and we decided last month we were going to travel and wait another year so when the line quickly showed up I thought I was going to fall over!!! I guess I just needed to relax and let it happen :-) I'm almost 6 weeks and can't wait for the next 34!!

  Re: Introductions and EDD's Reply Contact Hi, my name is Megan i live in Washington state, i have a 14 yo daughter 13 yo son a 11 yo daughter a 91/2 yo also a 6 yo daughter, (the 3 middle are bio mine) i had a miscarriage 2 years ago so when i found out that i was expecting this time i am very worried . since my due date is the same a it was 2 year ago edd is 03/12/10, that would put me at 6w 1 day but my ultrasound that i have had show that as of today that i measure i am 8w1day. congrat to all.. :-)

  Re: Introductions and EDD's Reply Contact My name is Megan and I live in Pennsylvania. I had been trying to get pregnant for 2 years and have had two miscarriages and a surgery. I was completely surprised that I was pregnant this time. It feels absolutely nothing like the last two which to me seems like a good thing. My EDD is 3/22/10. Happy that I can post on here since based on my history I really can't share the news with anyone yet! Hoping for the best..

My EDD is 3/15/10. maybe we should do an updated EDD thread with the people that are still on board I dont recognise a lot of these people. Just a thought if someone wants to do it now or maybe later down the line after we get all the new march mommys on board.

  Re: Introductions and EDD's Reply Contact I've been reluctant to join a birth board because of my history of miscarriage, but I'm determined to enjoy this pregnancy no matter how long it last.  My name is Ashley and based on LMP by EDD is 03/30/10.  But based on the day I O'd it would be 04/02/10 so I'll prob be bouncing between the Mar and Apr boards.  It took us two years to get pregnant again, my last preg before this was in December of 2006 and my DH and I had a few miscarriages in 2006.  We don't have any children here on earth with us but we do have one cute little kitten named Shnoka who thinks she's our baby.  I'm on Prometrium (oral 200mg once a day) and baby asprin for this pregnancy.  So far I've had some brown spotting since Thursday and mild tummy cramps.  I get my second BETA results back today and I've been anxious for them all weekend.  I look forward to getting to know you all!

  Re: Introductions and EDD's Reply Contact Hi everyone and congrats to all of you! My name is Michaela - mama to Noah from the Aug '08 baby board. I live in a suburb of Chicago and I believe my EDD is 3/26/10 (based on my last AF). My husband thought I was acting a little absentminded a week ago (just like when I was pregnant with Noah), so we tested last week Monday and it came back negative. When I still didn't get my AF, we tested again this past Sunday evening and I got a bfp literally within seconds!! I'm excited and nervous at the same time - I will have 2 kids under the age of 2 soon!!! And to add to it... we weren't even trying to conceive!! We knew we wanted another, but thought about having them be 2 - 2 1/2 years apart. I'll find out more when I go see my ob 8/19 - which is just 11 days after Noah's 1st birthday!
