    Diyya33.....How is baby Kaleb doing?

Just wanted to see how Kaleb is doing. I know he was progressing well in the NICU last month. Do you have a going home date? Carmen

Sorry i haven't updated in a while.....I went back to work and school and it's killing me........Kaleb is doing really well......thanks for asking.......he is 4lbs 2oz......He feeds off of the bottle now 5-6 times a day....It is so cute watching him stick out his tongue when i get ready to feed him. His eye exams have been really well.....he has one scheduled tomorrow and i am sure the results will be fine......his last head sonogram was really good.....he should be home in the next month.....one nurse told me two weeks......he is still in the incubator but should come out this week and be placed in a crib.....he is on really low oxygen right now so he should be coming off that really soon.......thanks you guys for your prayers.....I would not have made it through this without the kind words and support. How are you and your baby (in the belly) doing?

Oh I am sorry that you had to go back to work. I know that was hard, but you have to because I am pretty sure that you are taking time off when he comes home. It is really good that he is doing well. That is such a blessing and a testimony to others. With your story, you should sign up next year to be a Sidelines volunteer. There are so many women who have their babies prematurely and need special guidance and support from those who have been through it. Please keep us posted. And send us pictures. As far as me....cerclage still in and comes out in 2 weeks! So I am 34 weeks tomorrow. I am now nervous about giving birth and the labor process. I didn't get to take CB classes so I feel like I am going in blind. So hopefully the hospital will have CB educators on staff when i go in. I guess it will come to me naturally. I just can't believe how we all got this far...it is by the grace of God. I am getting out about twice a week or so in the wheelchair. So I try to get baby stuff then. We have gotten the main stuff. Once the baby is born, we will have a welcome baby shower. That way we can get the rest of the stuff that we want!!! Take Care
