I posted about this in the Natural Birth area, but thought I'd do it here too. Has anyone used this method? How did you like it? Have you used any other methods?

I did take the class & the techniques really helped me relax during flse cx & early labor.  Once hard labor hit (my water broke, so it came quick) it all went out the window & I had a really hard time relaxing.  It did help me make it 6 hrs natural before I finally gave into the epi.  I know that had I not taken the class & had the mindset ingrained in my head I don't think I would have made it that far.

I haven't, but I plan on getting some books and reading up on it/practicing.  I'm 16+ weeks now and spend alot of time practicing relaxing all of my abdominal muscles and pelvic floor muscles. I can't wait to read up on some of the other methods of relaxing and start practicing now! I'm hoping to make it without any pain meds at all.  My second daughter, first vaginal birth, was a 14 hour labor preceeded by 2-3 days of false labor.  I made it through the false labor and about 11 hours before giving in for some IV meds.  Never did get an epidural. :)
