    Teen pregnancies

I don't want to get anyone angry or not,but I have a question.I heard a long time ago that the youngest girl ever to give birth (by Csection of course) was 9,she'd been raped by her stepfather or father, not sure which. What was the youngest age that you've heard of?And if you're the one, how'd you handle the stress?I gave birth to my first when I was 1 month short of 19 years old which is why I'm curious.

Im pretty sure it was 9 for the youngest girl. Which is unbelievable. 9? Just crazy too many sick people in this world to do that to a child. I got pregnant with my first when I was 17. Just crazy..

The youngest person to give birth, the youngest mother in the world and in the history of humanity is a 5 year old Peruvian Girl. Her name was Lina Medina. See photo below. Lina Medina, seven and a half months into pregnancy Lina Medina (born September 27, 1933) is the youngest confirmed mother in medical history, giving birth at the age of 5 years, 7 months and 21 days. Born in Peru, Lina was brought to a hospital by her parents at the age of 5 years because of increasing abdominal size. She was originally thought to have had a tumor, but her doctors determined she was in her seventh month of pregnancy. Dr. Gerardo Lozada took her to Lima, Peru, prior to the surgery to have other specialists confirm that Lina was in fact pregnant. A month and a half later, on May 14, 1939, she gave birth to a boy by a caesarean section necessitated by her small pelvis. The surgery was performed by Dr. Lozada and Dr. Busalleu, with Dr. Colretta providing anaesthesia. Her case was reported in detail by Dr. Edmundo Escomel to La Presse Medicale, along with the additional details that her menarche had occurred at 8 months of age (or 2 1/2 according to a different article[1]), and that she had had prominent breast development by the age of 4. By age 5 her figure displayed pelvic widening and advanced bone maturation. Her son weighed 2.7 kg (6.0 lb/0.43 st) at birth and was named Gerardo after her doctor. Gerardo was raised believing that Lina was his sister, but found out at the age of ten that she was his mother. He grew up healthy but died in 1979 at the age of 40 of a disease of the bone marrow.

I am not really believing the 14 year old mother of quints. is that even possible without having had in vitro? and if it is from en vitro, why would a 14 year old be desperate to be pregnant?? As far as the youngest mother, does anyone know who the father of the 5 year old girl's son was? I'm just wondering how a 5 year old ended up pregnant.. obviously she was taken advantage of, but I'm just wondering what came of that..

Yeah it would have to be through in vitro AND Quints would never stay put till their due date so there would be no i'm having them in two weeks you would always go into labor early cause of the weight

    Re: Teen pregnancies

This same story was posted on here awhile back but then she was saying she had a daughter already and was pregnant with quints...and if you did the math she would have gotten pregnant when the 1st baby was like 6 days old *lol*...some people are starving for attention.

The birth of sextuplets is rare, occurring in about one out of 4.5 million pregnancies. In December 2002 Rhonda and Noel Loughran, from Cabragh, Co Tyrone, became parents to only the 12th set of natural quintuplets to be born worldwide since records  began.

I agree! I think it's something like 1 in 55,000,000 chance of getting pregnant naturally with quints. So, really, it would have to be IVF or some other form of treatment to produce that many babies, and I don't know of 1 single RE that would help a 14 year old get pregnant.
