     Hi.   Congratulations on your pregnancy.

I have PCOS and I have a beautiful 2 year old son.  We just finished our 19th cycle of fertility treatments and are awaiting the results.  I did have one m/c at 5-6 weeks at the end of May but that was not from PCOS, it was due to a low uterine lining.  My dr. has reassured me that I will be pregnant again and will have more children...as many as I want he will help me have them!  Thank God for benefits because it is pricey but so worth it. I've never ever heard that PCOS causes miscarriages. I wouldn't believe too much of that.  If you are concerned, talk to your OB at your next appointment.

Good luck to you.  Just stay calm, don't stress out and you will be just fine.  You are 10 weeks now, so you're almost at the 12 week mark.  I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy!

My Best Friend has PCOS. She and I did a lot of research on it and found a specialist when she decided to try to get PG. She is currently 30 weeks PG and has had no problems at all. From our research and what the dr's told her getting PG is harder w/PCOS. And hormone levels need to be monitored and sometimes adjusted w/meds during the first trimester to support the PG. But after that you are no more likely to have problems w/m/c than any other PG woman. Women that suffer from PCOS are more likely to have gestational diabetes and PG related hypertension. Aside from that you should not expet to have any problems. She is not considered high-risk now, although for the 1st 3 months she was. Now she's just a typical PG woman, under the care of a MW.

Good luck and try not to worry. You are almost 12 weeks. Then your PCOS will likely not effect your PG at all!
