Both names are beautiful. I favor Victoria slightly because no one will mispronounce it or misspell it.

Well I don't think Sephia is hard to pronounce (SA-FIA) Just a little different from Sophia (I have a cousin Sofie and don't wanna "copy" that). If we do go with Victoria I would probably call her Tori for short. This is my husband's grandmother's name and they called her Vicki, but I like Tori better:)

i think everyone will assume shes a sophia just spelt different. Especially since right now this generation of babies have such a vast range on how a name can be spelt.  I know thats not how you ment it but i think she will go thru this her whole life being called sophia i know if i seen it on a school role call i would think it was just parents changed the spelling. plus if you say sephia or sophia when there together its gonna sound very close to lil kids so it wont be that different

I say go for victoria very pretty, classic, wont fade out, not super popular, and so many options for nn and i think using tori is super cute!

I mean no offense by this post just being honest were in such a craze of changing names but saying them the same i think she will get lost in the mix bailey, bayleigh,baylee..... just an example people may think u just tweaked the spelling

I wasn't criticising Sephia--it is beautiful and I would have pronounced it Seh-fia. I was just commenting on the reason I favor Victoria. BTW, Tori is a great nn and I love that the name Victoria is to honor your husband's grandmother. That makes it more special! Is Sephia named for anyone aside from your cousin Sophie?

No Sephia isn't (actually I got it from the car "Kia Sephia". I saw it a long time agao and thought that it was pretty for a little girl. Faith however is my mother's name and I know she'd love that we choose that (if we do). Now that I think of it I think the car was spelled "Sepia" but I like Sephia better for a name:)

When I first saw it I wondered if you wanted it pronounced SEH-fia, or seh-FIA... I don't really care for it, simply because it's SO close to Sophia. But, it's your baby and your choice, and ultimately you need to love your child's name much more than I do, LOL

I voted for Victoria though :)

I would pronounce Sephia: Seh-Fee-Uh. It's pretty but don't know it that's the pronunciation you want. I voted Victoria. I Have always loved that name. I know a little girl with it and they call her Tori too. :) I know two little Tori's. Both very spirited and precocious girls.
