I saw your message on the main page and decided to check it out. I've never miscarried, but with my second I did have two sacs and only one had a baby in it. They did tell me I may have some bleeding if I were to pass the empty sac, but I never did. I'm sure it's hard to not worry while waiting for your ultrasound next week, but hopefully everything is just fine and it's just that second sac passing.
