I lurk here alot thoung and have learned alot of stuff from you ladies. so i thought i would just get up the nerve and ask my questions. thanks in advance for the help. My name is alyssa and this is my third child My son is 4 and my daughter is 2. just to introduce myself a bit. alright here goes nothing i gues. I am 12 weeks pregnant my boyfriend and i do enjoy kind of rough sex sometimes i mean it is rougher then normal but nothing that causes any pain or discomport. my question with that is as long as i am not having any spotting or bleeding after rough sex or i am not in any pain or discomfort while we are having sex then it is ok to have rougher sex right? but when i start to spot or bleed or have any type of pain i should stop having rough sex? Second question, i have never done this with any guy before but the boyfriend has been asking for it for a while now. is it safe to "swallow" while being pregnant. i don't even know if i want to do it the thought of it kinda grosses me out but i told him i would consider it but have been using the excuse that i can't because i am pregnant. that will only work for so long so i figured in my thinking about it i would find out if it is ok to "swallow" last but not least. lately well since i found out i was pregnant. when i am on top during sex it seems to not hurt while we are having sex but it is uncomfortable. it seems like he is alot deeper in me and it kind of causes pressure if that is the right was to explain it. I figured that i feel that way because well i have heard alot that when the girl is on top the guy is deeper in her because its from a different angle or something like that. does any one else experiance this? thank you for the help sorry if it is TMI..

(TMI) Reply Contact Okay...I don't usually post here, but I was bored and browsing, so I'll answer. :) First, as long as your sex isn't uncomfortable and you don't have any bleeding or spotting afterwards....go for it!!  DH and I like rough sex too and continued as long as it was comfortable with both of my girls.  I miscarried early on during my first pregnancy, but that wasn't due to sex since he was in another state the entire 14 weeks. As for swallowing...it's perfectly safe.  The sperm dies once it hits the stomach acid.  nothing to worry about.  It's not as gross as you may think, though try to swallow instantly and dont' hold it around in your mouth.  That part grosses me out, but swallowing doesn't. :) As for sex on top....he is deeper because of the angle.  In fact, I can't have sex with me on top not because I'm horrible, though I am, but because it hurts!!  I have a tilted uterus, it's tilted all the way backwards, and when I'm on top, it hurts....alot.  When I'm pregnant it doesn't hurt too much, but then I've got this huge belly and am totally self conscious! lol  Good luck and experiment.  You can google sex positions during pregnancy to find some that may be more comfortable for you.

But, I have found that on occasion, I can immediately drink a glass of milk after to wash all the taste from my mouth. Choose whichever beverage you like. If you(and your DH!) are REALLY lucky, you might enjoy the taste. Lots of people do, I'm just not one of them, unfortunately. Good luck, and have fun!
