about fetal movement

  Re: about fetal movement Reply Contact They say the normal time to feel movement is around 18-22 weeks. If this is your 2nd or more, you tend to feel it sooner because you know what to look for. Also, weight and baby position are factors too. I am overweight which made it longer before I felt my little one and the last u/s showed he was facing my back. He must have gotten bigger and moved because I'm almost 22 1/2 weeks and I am feeling what I believe to be the baby every now and then. It's not often but enough that I walk around with a silly grin on my face all the time. I hope you feel your little one soon! good luck!

  Re: about fetal movement Reply Contact With my daughter I didn't feel her move until I was 20 wks.  The day after my 20 wk. appt. actually. With this one I am almost 15 wks and I feel the baby move, but I really think that it is because I know what it feels like now. Honestly if you have concerns you should call your Dr. and maybe they can use the doppler to hear the heartbeat or you may even get an ultrasound. Good Luck!
