    Middle Name For Dani

I need a middle name for Dani. We aren't pregnant yet, but we are talking names. We like names that are unisex. Our daughter Charli, (short for Charlize), is 2, and we both love the look we get when we tell people her name, its unique...but not out there! We named her Charlize Brooke. We are looking to find a name to pair with Dani...or Danny. (Please don't say Lynn...) I am stumped... Also, is Dani short for anything other than Danielle? If we had a girl I'd like her to have a name that can be professional and cute...

Dani, for a girl is short for Danica, or Danielle/Daniella. For a boy, I typically hear Danny being short for Daniel, but I'm sure there's at least one other name. I was thinking for a few minutes about a middle name idea for you, and I don't know if typical "Marie" suits you, but I think Dani Marie sounds pretty. However, I don't like Danielle Marie, so it all depends on if you're going to name her just Dani, or if it's going to be a nickname. For a boy, I like Daniel James, or Danny Richard. Something like that. My husband and I thought for months on a middle name for our baby that's on the way....and we're naming her Cambria [Cam-bree-ah], and we just thought with the first name being so unique, but not "out-there", Anne, would be the perfect match for the middle name. [It's also my middle name.] Maybe you can think of some names of people that inspire you, or just names/middle names of people you know, and you can pair them up. I hope this helps you out!

    thanks for the ideas

i like Dani Marie, sounds pretty, my middle name is Michelle. my hubby would never go for Danica, and he doesn't like Danielle. So we'd just name her Dani probably. For a boy it would be Daniel, but we'd never call him that, just Danny. You're right, that Marie doesn't fit with Danielle.

I've been searching, does Coryn/Corinne/Corrienne (however you spell Core-Rin) sound ok? Hubby will hate it, but I think it sounds sort of nice...Dani Coryn Peterson

Dani Elizabeth Peterson Dani Leigh Peterson

Daniel .... Peterson.... boy names are too difficult
