    having the baby in germany

    we have just found out im about 10 weeks pregnant and due to my husband being in the army and we are based in Germany im having the baby out here. has anyone here had a baby in germany????

    I had my daughter on base here in Germany and I am 21 weeks pregnant again. I'm hoping for a home birth, but if that doesn't work out it will be a German hospital. From all I've heard they are pretty good. Our hospital has water births and all the usual pain management. They'll keep you longer than the average American hospital if that appeals to you.
