  March Munchkins backup board info Reply Contact  Hey ladies, Since we are final on our name and most have joined already I have decided to make a back up board if any of you are interested.  It will be set to private so not just anyone can see what we post or our pics. (I like to keep somethings out of the public eye ya know.)  Here is the link if you are interested... http://MarchMunchkins.activeboard.com/ I am new to starting boards so work with me while I get the kinks worked out.   Re: March Munchkins backup board info Reply Contact I was going to ask the same thing.  I appreciate you setting a board up but am wondering if that means that people just won't post here anymore.  With my July 08 board we never had a back up and are all still very very close.  In fact, the nice thing is, some of us after having our babies went missing in action for a year but were glad to see we were all still there when they returned.  It has been nice keeping up with those ladies as well.  If we have a backup board, will some people miss out?  I hope we only need to use it if something goes wrong with this site.  Again, I appreciate your work in setting it up but just hope we don't have to use it.

  Re: March Munchkins backup board info Reply Contact This is a back up board that will be used as a secondary place we can go when PW is running slow or crashes. Sometimes the servers are down for maintence as some of you know can happen from Time to Time. I just stepped up and created the March Munchkins board and all the women due in March who would like to join can. I am not saying to stop posting on this board at all....but the backup board will be a private format. You have to register for access with a vaild email and not just anyone can read our business. We would love to have all the March Momma's join the board. :) -Terra

  Re: March Munchkins backup board info Reply Contact Ok, so with the clarification that there is now a private board, how many of you are going to post there, and how many will continue to post here?  I, too, am part of a private board, May '08, with Mandee.  I still check that board all of the time, but I know lots of people never got the opportunity to join there.  It feels a little early to leave PW right now!

  Re: March Munchkins backup board info Reply Contact We had a troll or two on our board too but they are usually easy to pinpoint.  I think it's too early to start using the private board too.  I think maybe we should wait to use it in case something did happen here.  i have no problem sharing pictures on here.  I won't share my address or things like that though.  I also think there are probably a lot of women who haven't even discovered this board yet and it would be sad if they didn't know where to go.  Again, I appreciate your thoughtfulness in setting it up but I think we should wait to use it so as not to exclude any would be newcomers.

We did this for my Feb '08 board and over time it became our main board because it is private. So, thank you very much!
