I LOVELOVELOVE Phoebe. When I was little girl, my favorite book ("Eight Cousins" by Louisa May Alcott) had a character named Phoebe. It was the first time I ran across the name and I have loved it ever since.

Phoebe. It was my favourite name for a while, a few years back. Zoe is harsh-sounding next to Phoebe.

Phoebe was my great- grandmothers name. I like it. It's very old fashioned. I knew a girl in school name Zoe. She was very unique. She spelled her name with the 2 dots over the e for emphasis I guess. Unfortunatly she passed away after high school. But I would have to say I like Phoebe.

Sorry, but I have a blatant bias. My daughter is called Phoebe so I would say that :)
Her name is Phoebe Erin Grace, what do you think?

I like Phoebe...Zoe is very in vogue right now (I know three girls born in 2008 who are all named Zoe or Zoey)  so I'd prefer to go with something a little less common.

I LOVE Phoebe - it would be top on my list but my husband doesnt like it.  I like it because of the show Charmed though HAHA.  I think it sounds like it fits a very sweet girl/woman with the ability to kick your butt if you make her mad :D HAHA.

Zoe ranked 58 out of the top 1000 baby names in 2008 according to Social Security.

    Phoebe ranked 348.

I would definitely go with Phoebe due to fewer of them running around!
