Big decision!!

Reply Contact After putting a lot of thought into it, and discussing it with my husband, I have decided to enroll in a program to become certified as a birthing doula.  I've done a lot of soul searching and both my husband and I really think that this is my calling.    I'm really excited about it!  Wish me luck!!

I did my training through DONA but don't like the restrictions that go along with certification, so I work independently uncertified.

My first birth is in November thanks to my sil. I really am so excited to make a career out of this. I am also enrolling to get the certification for a breastfeeding counselor, and I am very enthusiastic about that as well. Breastfeeding to me ties first with a positive birth experience. So, YAY!
