Weird name?

I think of a dishonest person or someone who cannot be trusted. You can use Shady as a family knickname, but do her a favor and keep looking for the right name. Mae is a terrific middle name!

Maybe figure something out that shady could be a nickname for, or just call her that as a pet name. It's a nice sounding word, but as a name it sounds...shady! Not good.

The name Shady is cute for a nickname but not a given name. Shayda is really close and very cute. And You could Use Shady all the time. I know people who have nicknames for their kids, and that's all you know them by...Which is fine. But if you Spell it I'd Suggest Shaydee Or Shayde Or something like that. The name is cute, But the meaning most people will associate with it is not.

We call her Shae which she likes so I would say go with that or Sadie which is beautiful. Love the choice of Mae as a middle name though so would say Sadie Mae as Shae Mae is too similar. Elly
