I would take it with a grain of salt, Dystonia, which she reportedly has, is a genetic disorder. This is the Dystonia organizations response to it:

Actually, there are two known forms of Dystona, Primary Dystonia, which occurs as a result of a genetic or inherited defect in the central nervous system, and Secondary Dystonia, which occurs strictly as a result of external stimuli, typically exposure to drugs or chemicals, or physical trauma. Because so little is still known about ths condition, is it fair to say that Secondary Dystonia, may still have roots in a person's predisposition to coming down with the condition after exposure to such stimuli, but to label it as a "genetic condition" is simply not always accurate. It is extremely unusual to have such an adverse reaction to a vaccine like the flu shot. But to say the vaccine is 100% safe, is not true, and the potential to have an allergy, or negative reaction to this or any vaccine, always exists, no matter how small the odds. It is a risk we take as a society, in order to mass-innoculate ourselves against a virus. There are still more people annually who die of flu related complications, than come down with a condition like or similar to, Dystonia. Personally though, I'll take my chances with the flu.
