What do you think of the name "River" for a boy?

  What do you think of the name "River" for a boy? Reply Contact My husband really likes the name River for our son...who is due to arrive Mid November. I'm not sold on it, and just wondered what others thought about it. Right now, we're thinking of Jenson as a middle name. For some reason, the name "Evan" keeps popping into my head, but hubby feels it's just "OK". So, does anyone have an opinion on "River Jenson" vs. Evan?

I just think of River Phoenix which is tragic, and a girl I don't like gave her son the middle name RIver. But that is just my experience. If I were to be completely unbiased, i'd say it's a neat name, but I do like Evan better. But River Jenson is pretty cool and unique.
