    What do you drink?

    Hey ladies! I'm 5 weeks and 5 days pregnant! this is baby number 2. i was wondering what you drink because i love coffee and am trying not to have as much...I want something that is low in calories so i can eat them not drink them lol...Also..does anyone have any low calorio carbanated drinks they can recomend? When i was pregnant with dd for some reason i craved pop because of the carbanation....Thanks !!!!

    Per my midwife, I have one 8 oz cup of coffee per day-I LOVE COFFEE- so this helps curb the cravings...also, a low cal, no caffeine, no artificial sugar carbonated option is Hansens Sodas.  Great flavors, great carbonation, no guilt.  Some favorite flavors are Tangerine Lime and Creamy root beer-they have all kinds-look in the natural foods section of your grocerie store, or Sam's club often sells them.  I also have bought decaf iced tea bags made by lipton so I can have my summer tea without the caffeine.

    try juicing some fruits or buy fruit juice and add some soda water to it, you get the fizz and nutrients!

    My midwife also gave me the green light for a coffee in the morning....which I took full advantage of. I gotta have my coffee!!! LOL!!

    if it's carbonation you miss - drink seltzer water or club soda = 0 calories. If you miss coffee, why not drink decaf? I find myself being thirsty and not wanting to drink plain boring water, so I squeeze some lemon or lime into it and somehow it makes it so exciting (being sarcastic here, but it does make me drink more, and it's all natural).

    I just drink water and milk.  I miss juice and pop, but heartburn is not worth it!  I work for Starbucks and believe me it was hard to give up the bean juice! I know it is ok to have a cup or two a day, but I decided to just plain stop. I usually start the day with a cup of tea, less caffeine.

    As for carbonated as pp said, try seltzer or club soda and add lemon or lime? I would have a ginger ale once in a while too, especially during 1st trimester.
