    my nephew won't eat...

he won't eat anything off a spoon, he just wants chips and crackers, we're worried he's not getting enough food or variety. He 11 months old and just cries hes hungry until he gets what he wants. Any suggestions?

If that is the case make sure he's getting some type of vitamin... that will help. At 11 months old they are picky-- and that goes well into the toddler stage.  my 3 1/2 yr old is very picky. If it's not pepperoni or chocolate milk he really won't eat it.  he only likes certain things.  just make sure you are offering the baby small bites of things depending on teeth. don't offer large pieces as they overwhelm them.  give finger foogs. and if you think about it-- meats are hard for them to chew- takes longer so they get lazy and don't want to chew that long-- small pieces help that.  Good Luck!
