    NAME HELP...be brutal...I won't be offended!

It feels like deja vu for me! I need your help with baby names! I know I have a "new" birth club but, I value your opinions soooo much! I just feel like you will ALWAYS be my birth club! LOL! Anyway...I was a little upset because the other day a woman came into my work and was like "Didn't you name your son Tucker?" I said yes, and she preceded to tell me she liked it too, and was naming her child (due in a couple months) the same thing! I know I should be happy but, I was just happy for him to have a unique name! We live in a very small town, and now there will be 2 tuckers in the same class! Oh well...at least he was the first...hahaha! ANYWAY...so this time around I am coming up with a name that NO ONE will copy!!! That has lead to some pretty bad options...mostly because I'm trying to be the only on brave enough to name my child that!!! Haha...poor kid! Anyway...tell me what you think! By the way....my son's name is Tucker Lane....

    GIRLS....

    Willow Raine

    Ashton Jewel

    Hayloe/Haylow/Halo

    Ember

    BOYS....THESE ARE THE CRAZY ONES...

    Brodie Wylde/ Wilde

    Knox Wylde

    Flint Greer/ Greare

    Grantley Ruger

    Peirce Ridge (or vice versa)

    Behr Holt

Nash (not sure what middle to put with it)

i actually love them ALL. leave it to me to be "out of the ordinary" though - whatever that might be. for a girl i pick willow, and for the boy im between pierce and grantley. id say keep thinking about the boys names if you want something even more 'different' ive seen a lotta crazy ones out there! and i love them! i think they're beautiful~

You've got a good list going already.  For girls, we picked our daughter's name after teaching a Finnish girl.  Her name is Kirsi (pronounced Keer-see) and it's not common.  The other names I like are pretty common so I won't add them.

For a boy, the other names we liked were Kieran and Callan but I'm not sure how popular they are these days.

I think they are all pretty cool!  Peirce was on my list for boys as well - Brodie was also on my list until I found out that it was gaining popularity.  May I add some additional ones for you to consider since I'll never need them???

    Girls:

Scarlet, ... hmm.  Well, I thought I had more for you but I guess I never really thought about girls names.

    Boys:

    Bronson, Gunner, Jagger, Sterling

Also, keep in mind if you are wanting to check popularity, the "truest" way is through the social security website ... because all names/ kids have to be registered.  It's www.socialsecurity.gov  - go to "other useful links" and click on popular baby names

I LOVE EMBER!!!  We have an Ember on our BB! :)

Also love Brodie.  As a suggestion, a friend of mine named her son Judson.  I just love it!

Naming your child has got to be the most exciting part of pregnancy aside from feeling them kick and move IMO!

If she is about to have her baby then he will be a year behind your son so they won't be in the same class. Hope that makes you feel a little better

As for a girls name I like

    Ashton Jewel

    Willow Raine

The names I have picked out for my girls names are

    Laramie Ranin

    Braislee Ashlyn

(if you decide to use one of them just to let you know there will be another baby coming soon for me hopefully and if it is a girl I will def be using one of them)

    Boys names

    Brodie Wylde

I also was going to use the name

Kieran but chose Kiegan because my mom's name is Karen and my daddy's name was Craig and so Kiegan's middle name is Craig so I very well could  not use Kieran LOL

    Kieran Wylde is cute

    Gunner

Blaze is a cute name I think

    Braison

How about Bodee or Brody?? For a girl I like Autumn Raine, it is so much fun picking out names it is hard too because they have to live with it all their life. Best of luck and wishing you the best.

I happen to like Willow Raine and Nash.  You could always put Greer/Greare with Nash for the middle name.

I like Willow, but also like Inara as a girl name. I do like uncommon names, but also like them to be friendly for school time.... hence my little one is Araceli :)

Unique boy name that has stayed with me: Theron. Sounds nice and strong, but old. Hmmm...

Ohh I love picking out names!!!!!!!! I had Ashton down as one of my choices for a girl and Bryson or Bryce for a boy. I do love Willow Raine for a little girl and for a boy Pierce Ridge. Also a girl I used to work with her little girl's name is Jovie Rayne so thats a different spelling for you and their was brothers in the gym nursery where I worked whose name's was Barrett and Brody.
