    baby hates shopping centre

Hi there. i hope somebody has a sollution for me. my little 4 month old baby girl hates the shopping centre. she is happy at home, but as soon as i have to go and do some shopping or just want to look around in the shops for something she throws a tantrum. its just stressful to go out with her, not relaxing at all. i even bought another pram where she can face me because i thought thats the problem, that she cant see me but it didnt make it better.PLEASE i need some advice on what i can do to make it easier for her and for me!

Have you tried giving her some toys to play with? I had to do that with my son because he hated going out.

Have you tried a sling, wrap or some other type of carrier instead of the stroller. Maybe your baby would rather be closer to mom.

That's a good idea! They can be kind of expensive so try a kid's thrift store or ask another mom to borrow ones before you spend the money.

Maybe all the noise, colors, and sights are overstimulating her. Have you tried a less busy plaza or maybe the park?

One of the local shops that sells wrap etc. where I live has a baby wearing class, you get to try all the different types out and learn how each is best used. Maybe other shops do this as well? Also if you are crafty, there are websites that give instructions on how to make a few types, as many are basically just fabric with a few adjustments.

thanks everybody for your answers...basically i tried it all what you suggested. got a sling. was good while holly was so little...now she doesnt wanna go in it anymore. got 3 different carry slings. not too bad in the shops but bit heavy with time...i think that she is easily overstimulated and all the strangers are too much for her...same with the light and the noise, i reckon....coz as soon as we are home she is a happy camper..but im still open for more ideas and tips from you...thanks again. :-)
