bleeding gums

We noticed Zach chewing on his toy boat (bath toy) and that he had blood all over his face. We took it away and figured it was his gums, but I wanted to ask others if this was normal.

I'm not saying it's not normal but Coben has four teeth and we didn't have any blood and there was never blood with my daughter. I'd call to be sure.

  aetrom Joined on 11-13-2004 Posts 1,931	Re: bleeding gums Reply Contact which teeth? and yes, it CAN be normal. with my firstborn when his front 2 teeth on the top came out they bled, as well as canines and molars. also, if he was teething hard cause it hurt they can hurt themselves too (like we nick our gums)

There hasn't been any blood sense. He is breaking through the two top front teeth and one next to the top front.
