    Won't take a bottle

Savannah is now 15 weeks old and still refusing a bottle. I have tried all the different kinds(breatflow. born free, platex premium nurser you name it) and she gags and throws up. Is anyone else having this problem? I have now gone 15 weeks without a single break. She is gaining weight like a champ so I am not concerned about supplementing but I would like to go out of the house on my own for a few hours every once in a while. I was pumping every morning to get a freezer supply but I am at the point of wondering why I want more in the freezer if it is going to be tossed. The only thing I do is keep reminding myself of how fast a year really does go by and that at least she is a cute and sweet little sidekick.

I'm sorry hun. I think I might be having the opposite problem. It's as though she prefers the bottle. She gets fussy on my breast & pulls off for some reason. My best friend's 3rd baby was the same as your little one. She never had a bottle & went straight to baby food at 6 months. I hope you get a break soon! Have you tried different nipples & using freshly pumped milk?

Oh yes! Ryan  is  the   same. i feel a bit like his personal cow these days. Strangely he would  take a bottle til 2months and then just quit.   I've had no luck either  getting him to  take a  bottle   again. Good thing    I  didn't buy  the $200 pump! Good luck and if you  find something that works let  me know!

Jake was exactly the same and still is when I'm around, but my mum and mother in law say that he wolfs a bottle down when I'm not around. Have you tried someone else giving her the bottle and you being out of the house? I'm sure if she was that hungry she would eventually give in. I know how horrid it is though, Jake used to get in such a state.

No problems with us... bottles are all Delcan takes. I just keep pumping on my days off, so I always have a huge supply in the fridge!

Yeah I can't even get Brealyn to take a binki. UGH. I hope you can get your little babe to take a bottle soon. I hate even going to the stores with Brealyn. That includes going to buy groceries. lol We have had little to no food here just because of that too. My husband doesn't understand how hard it is.

S won't take a binki either. She gags and throws up if I try that too. I understand about not wanting to get out. I feel like I expose myself every time we are in public. I am finally getting use to it and getting really good at being discreet. I have had to stop and nurse her in the middle of grocery shopping before. The one thing I can say is that it is so much easier than making and washing bottles and I have nothing but diapers and wipes to take with us when we go out. I am going to keep looking at all the positives.lol I am glad I am not alone. If anyone figures out a solution let me know.
