Re: WANTED: Updates on moms and babes; post your's!
My little girl is already 1 month old! She now weighs 10lbs and is a pro at breastfeeding! I almost gave up because it was seriously the hardest thing Ive ever had to learn to do but now I'm happy I didnt give up ;) She is a little angel, she sleeps very well at night only waking me once to eat and change a diaper and then its off to sleepy town again... Jaden has adjusted very well, he loves his lil sister he gives her kisses every time she crosses his busy little path. The first two weeks were not easy but now every one has adjusted and life couldnt be better! I will say I miss you ladies, I dont have as much free time as I used to but its nice to read all of your updates and see all of your precious little babies. Congrats mommies!

Re: WANTED: Updates on moms and babes; post your's!
Had to add some new pics of L Boogie. He is growing like a weed and making the cutest noises and sweetest faces. I wish he could be this age forever, as I know what's coming. My 6 year old is lovely, she is just a typical 6 year old and her little girl attitude is beginning to show thru. She rolled her eyes at me the other day and I thought I was going to cry. Just a small glimpse of whats to come I'm sure. Sorry the pics are so big..still have yet to figure that one out!
 a big yawn
a rare shot with the eyes actually open
 my gorgeous man

I know you probably cant see in the pics but he has these hilarious sideburns that go all the way down his cheek and spread out like Elvis.

Re: WANTED: Updates on moms and babes; post your's!
Madison will be 8 weeks old tomorrow and I am just amazed at how the time flies and how big she is getting. I feel like the time is moving faster with Madison than it did with Hailey. I haven't had her at the dr. in about 4 weeks and at that time she was weighing in at 9 lbs. 7 oz. and I'm sure by now she is at least 12 lbs, but will find out for sure when she goes in on March 6. She is such a good eater and we are doing so well breastfeeding. I am proud of both her and myself at how well we are doing. She does cry, A LOT and most of the time it seems like for no apparent reason. She loves the swing, so she spends a good portion of her time there because it seems to be the only way to keep her quiet when nothing else works.
As for me, I have only 10 lbs to go before I hit pre-pregnancy weight and am really happy about that. I can wear my jeans that were big on me before I got pregnant (size 12) and am anxiously awaiting to the moment when I can fit into my size 10's again. I can also tell you that sometimes I feel like I am going to lose my mind dealing with both of the girls by myself. Carl had to leave a week and a half after Madison was born. We went to visit him in Washington DC for a couple of weeks but we had to leave and he won't be home again until the end of March. Hailey, who is 22 months now, has officailly hit her terrible two's and that coupled with her having to share my attention and not having Daddy around is really making her a pain to handle, but I am doing it- one day at a time. It won't be too much longer now until Carl gets to come home and share some of these parenting duties with me. This is getting long so I am going to post some pics and call it quits.

One of my favorite pics of Madison:

And lastly, my girls. Hailey loves the camera, but Madison doesn't seem to care for it:

Dionna will be 7 weeks this Friday and is just so big. She is well over 11 lbs now, her 2 month check up is March 11th....my poor little mama will be getting her shots. She is just too funny, she has me n tony laughing all the time with her silly faces and funny noises. She is also starting to smile more and more at us. She was on a very good schedule since she first came home but from weeks 3-6 she had a bad case of colick and it messed everything up. At first should would only go and stay asleep if she layed on my chest.....now she is sleeping in bed with us but only seems to stay asleep if I am next to her. I am determined to get her back on a schedule, especially she is sleeping between 7-8 hours straight now. She loves and water and her baths, I have never seen a baby so calm in the water, I cant wait to see her in the summer.
We got her Easter pictures done over the weekend......She looks so pretty in her lil dress, and we got one of her laying in me and tonys hands....it is such a precious picture...They will be done March 9th....I cant wait to get them, I will scan them to show eveyone
I have been doing good....another 8 8 lbs before I am down to my pre-prego weight,,,,Tony and I are starting to go to the gym and we just bought the Wii Fit so I have plenty of options....I love the Wii Fit tho, I do it during one of her afternoon naps....Now for some pictures....
In the tub

Big girl sittin on the sofa (with just a lil bit of help)

She loves her boppy

I think she is gonna keep her hazel eyes, like mine (tony;s are brown)

My favorite one of her sleeping

Re: WANTED: Updates on moms and babes; post your's!
We just got home from Ian's 2 month appointment. He weighed in at 11 lbs 2 oz, which is about 4+ lbs over his birthweight! For those of you who remember my struggle with breastfeeding and that Ian didn't top his birthweight until 5 weeks, we were thrilled! He was 23 1/4 inches long, which is 4 inches longer than he was at birth. He is such a happy baby now. His reflux is under control, he's growing like a weed, and the soy formula doesn't bother his tummy like my breast milk did. He was smiling and laughing at his nurse before and after he received his vaccinations, and he's now sleeping contently. I just love my little man! I'll try to post some updated pictures soon.

Chance is 10 weeks old, it is hard to believe. He had his two month appointment last week. He has grown 3 1/2 inches and is 22 1/2 inches long now. He weighed 11 pounds 12 ounces so almost a 5 pounds weight gain. He has completely defied the odds for a 35 weeker. His clogged tear duct seems to have resolved a few days ago and his umbilical hernia is staying the same size now instead of getting worse. He started rolling at 7 weeks and rolls from tummy to back and is trying so hard to roll from back to tummy. He has incredibly head control. Some of his grunting is turning into cooing. He loves to watch his big brother and sister. Unlike the rough go I had with nursing the twins he has done great. He hasn't had to have formula and I have to say the lack of bottles is a relief. We are getting professional pics done next week but here are the pictures I have on Facebook. my email is hyphenatedlady@yahoo.com if you want to add me.

Re: WANTED: Updates on moms and babes; post your's!
I feel so bad that I haven't been on here much since the baby was born, but I'm exhausted. Nicholas doesn't sleep through the night, and that means I don't either. I don't get to take naps during the day, because there are things to get done, and I have a 2 and a half year old....lol.
Nicholas is now a little over 2 months, and doing so well. He's smiling, cooing, and sometimes he even laughs. He loves the booby, but will sometimes take a bottle, so that daddy can feed him, and give mommy a break. He takes the longest naps during the day, but only if he's sleeping on mommy and daddy's bed. He weighs 11lbs 5 ozs (at least he did about a week ago), so he's more than that by now I'm sure. He's already eating cereal to help with his reflux, and he loves it. He gets it twice a day, the last time is about 10pm, and then he sleeps about 4-5 hours, which means a happier mommy.
Zachary loves his baby brother, and won't let anyone touch "his baby". He hugs him and kisses him, gives him his paci, and turns on the vibrations on his bouncy seat. Other than that, he doesn't have too much to do with the baby.
Here are some pics of my beautiful boys. I think I might even have some of the older kids.....Katie (who's 9) is a second mommy, and even changes diapers. Matt (10 years) thinks he's cute, and will hold him sometimes. Cameron (15 years) loves to cuddle with him, but is scared because "he's too floppy"...lol.

Re: WANTED: Updates on moms and babes; post your's!
Well, here's my update. I've been waiting to post until Becca was a month old and she just turned a month yesterday! She is such a good baby, well for the most part. She had a cold from 2-4 weeks which made it hard for her to nurse and sleep but she's getting over it now and is eating and sleeping a lot better. She weighed 8lbs 6oz at her 2 week check-up and was 21 1/4in tall. Her and her big sister are getting along well and only have issues when Isabella tries to pic her up while she's sleeping, eating, or crying (which is pretty much all the time) but she does like to play with her when she's in a good mood :). All in all things are going well for our little family.

Isaac had his 2 month check up yesterday. He is 14lbs even and 23.5inches. He's got yucky craddle cap, so the doc gave us a script for some shampoo. He also has gotten a slightly flat spot on the right side of his head. It's not really noticable, but it's there. We're supposed to turn his head to the left more. Hopefully that will help. Everything else looks good! The doc complimented his neck strength and control.

Re: WANTED: Updates on moms and babes; post your's!

Connor had his 2 month appt today. He received his shots and cried, but was fine once he was back in my arms. He weighed in at 18 lbs 6 oz and 25 inches long. He has left my bed and DH is back in it! He has been in a bassinet for the last 6 days still in our room. I got my first real chunk of sleep last night. A whopping 4 hours!! He slept from 9-2:30 and I was in bed by 10:30. He woke up every 2 hours after that, but boy did I feel refreshed this morning.
His nightly cry fests have seem to come to an end, hurray!!! He is beginning to warm up to the swing, bouncy chair, stroller, and car, so I can actually go places and get things done!

Re: WANTED: Updates on moms and babes; post your's!
OK, for some reason the computer at my work will NOT post with the enhanced thingy. SO my big update/fotos disappeared, and I had vowed not to use the internet at home since I"m back at work;)
But the kids are in bed.... We went to Sebastian's 2 month check Monday, he as 24.25 inches and 13 lbs 9 oz... very heathy. Still totally EBF (including pumping), eating great. He also knows how to SLEEP, unlike his 2 year old brother - who still wakes me up going 'peepee mami..' or 'scared, mami.......' Sebastian will wake to nurse maybe once a night - SO WONDERFUL.
The fotos include last week's snow here - we played outside for HOURS, since noone in the family had seen snow - Yili is even in her pyjamas - (the baby went inside w/grandma).
The one of my son lifting his shirt is because in all seriousness he offered to breastfeed Sebastian when we first came home from the hospital. He wanted to hold Sebastian, and I said not yet, he had to eat. Sandyto pulled up his shirt and said 'No, mami, mine booie (booby) mine me......"
