    Who is NOT crawling?

Coben doesn't even seem close. He lays on his stomach and whimpers if I put something out of reach. He can get puffs into his mouth like nobody's business but that's about all he's using his muscle coordination for.

HAHA Neve is not even sitting on her own yet! She still fold neatly in half when we try, she'll play like that though for about 5 minutes but then gets upset and demands to be held again LOL This afternoon i tried standing her and having her hold on to a small stool, ohhhh boy that really pissed her off lol how dare I!!!

Ricky isn't crawling yet. He gets on his knees and rocks back and forth but that's it. He rolls to get to where he wants to go. It's pretty funny to see.

Jenna isn't yet.  She can army crawl maybe a few inches total at a time, but it's certainly not crawling.  I think someone else mentioned this..... she's woken up in the middle of the night the last few nights crying.  I go in there and she has her eyes closed and it looks like she's trying to crawl?  Didn't this happen to some of you with older lo's?  Please tell me it doesn't last long!  I vaguely remember reading about it but now that I need to know I can't find the thread!

We're not quite there yet either but she does stay on her hands and knees a lot so I am betting anytime here soon. I am in trouble then.

Yesterday Gretta began to army crawl.  But no real crawling yet.  And she's never gotten on hands and knees to rock yet.

Harrison attempts to army crawl, but he doesn't need to move for anything - his siblings put on quite a floor show for him and fight over who gets to give him a toy next.

Um...yeah, so Ethan and Coben definitely are in the same boat! Ethan just started sitting up really well on his own, but still flails back every now and again to whack his head on the floor ;P He isn't even pushing himself up to sit, but he'll stand and hold his own weight. He is pulling up in his crib, but not crawling or even attempting to move toward objects yet. he looks at them ever so longingly, like, "Why won't it jump into my mouth/hand?!" then whimpers. I am not worried, but I do anticipate the moving anyday now. He'll get it...meanwhile, he has a big brother (well, yours has a sister!) who does everything for him, so he doesn't have to! BTW, we still have no teeth on our end...Hunter's didn't come until 11 1/2 months, so no worries. I hate the biting, so I am feeling blessed!

Coben has a little push car that he can sit on and push with his feet. He can ride it backwards right now so our joke is that he'll probably never crawl but instead just cruise around the house on his little car!

Lucy goes backwards but not forwards, she does get on hands and knees though, so soon I hope.

Cadence does not crawl. She JUST mastered the art of sitting up lol. SHe still does the superman thing where she pushes up with her arms but thats it. I wanna keep her still for as long as I can. Its hard enough running around after my 21 month old hahaha

I've heard of babies that totally skip the crawling stage.  They just go from nothing to walking!  So no worries ladies.  Grace took a long time to start crawling and my inlaws kept telling me that her daddy skipped the crawling stage also.  Also little grace is a thinker, she seems to think things through before she attempts them and it seems to slow the prosess down but she does awesome when shes ready.

My daughter!! She never crawled. She didn't even roll until she was 11 months. She was very content to sit or lay down on her back and that was IT! She spent the bulk of her time being vocal and could care less about movement. It's just funny that I have an eight month old who is now following in her footsteps. He's much wigglier and wants to stand all the time but seems pretty uninterested in crawling.  I think he might also bypass that milestone.
