Wool diaper covers

Do you just put the prefold underneath and then let them wear the longies? I am a little confused about it all. I only use pockets and some prefolds.

I use a  cloth fitted with out the cover and use the wool as the cover. I love bagshot bamboo diapers and I use Bellies, Babies 'n More for my wool covers. Check out hyenacart.com for these stores. Also monster fluff has good wool.
