Well Hi!I am new here too!!My name is Faye and my son was born Oct.30.Nice to meet all of you.Well I am a single mom and having my parents around doesn't really help me understand what really means to be a single mom.But i am really lucky to have them.Of course I am planning to move to US study and live so I will be alone there.I hope to find good people like you to support me and advise me whenever I have a problem.

I am so sorry for your loss but the thing with me is that I dont want the baby's father to have nothing to do with my son.You know he is to immature to be a dad and definitely not a father material. He got abusive and jealous of every male around me relative or not and i was not allowed to see or talk anyone not even my own friends male or female(women around me were whores)so i told him we were over after months of on and offs. And about the baby i told him to have a contact with me while pregnacy but he didnt. So i wont let him see my son.But I think I am better off.I am so happy now and I will raise my son the way I want. But thank yuo so much for your support and if you want to talk I am here.

Hi, I'm new to the group and had my baby girl on Oct. 4th, 2007. She's my 5th child and very differnt from the others. She's a bit behind w/ her milestones and I was wondering if anyone else has any lazy babies out there. She doesn't sit up yet and she's just starting to roll over. I try my best to encourage her, but she's so stuborn! I guess I should be thankful that she's not getting into evertything yet, but I also can't help but be a little concerned.

I think all children are different. I would ask your doctor before getting too concerned. My daughter is 20 months and very far advanced in speech and everything else. However my friend has a 19 month old that is barely walking and deffinelty not talking there is nothing wrong with him, they have taken him in, he's just not a fast learner!
