cleft palate repair date!

    How is Emma's jaw looking? Avery;s plastic surgeon is till saying Avery's is on the very small side and may need the jaw distraction..not for a while though...what have you heard about this?
    Sorry it's taken me a while to respond. Emma will have to have the extraction also. They won't do it until she is at least 18. They want her to be fully grown so that they know exactly how much her jaw will ned to come out. Other wise it will just keep growing and a whole new set of issues will arise!

    we just met with Avery's cleft team and got the run down on what to expect detal wise in the future..yikes!! she is also still tube feeding(once a day) to help with her slow weight gain. The ear tubes are doing there job so thats good!! how has she been doing?
