I blew out the background but still like how they came out. I have to give it another try hopefully today. Caleb would not cooperate at all!!

Awwwww he's ADORABLE! And yeah I tend to have the same problem myself! What I usually do is use the burn tool in photoshop to "fix" it. I quoted myself because it doesn't always work out. Very tricky. Tongue Tied Anyway I think they came out very nice!!
