I am 30 weeks pregnant with triplest and I just use the prego pillow that looks like a cashew. I think it totally helps. Other than that I just have to keep changing from my left side to my right and back cause if I lay to long on one side my arms and legs start to totally ache.

    Re: comfortable with triplets

    Hi Michelle,

I'm sure you must be getting to a point where you are pretty uncomfortable with the triplets.  I didn't have triplets, I had twins, but I know that it really helped to use tons of pillows.  I often felt better when I would prop myself up so I wasn't in a complete laying position.  If I was laying down, then of course I was on my side and I always needed a pillow slightly behind my back and then a pillow under my belly. I couldn't get comfortable without my belly propped some. I also couldn't live without a pillow or two between my knees.    I also know that a lot of moms of multiples would wind up sleeping in a Lazy Boy type chair the farther along they got.  The only thing you can do is try different things. I hope that you find some ways that help you get some good rest.  Best wishes and hope to see you back on our page in the future.

    Hi Michelle --

Like Cheryl, I never had triplets -- just twins.  Also, what worked for me were pillows pillows and when there was no room in the bed, MORE pillows. Also sitting in the glider in the nursery was helpful when my back was sore or when I was having heartburn problems.  Couldn't sleep in there for long, but it was something!!!!

You're doing GREAT!!!!!  Keep up the good work and I hope you can find ways to get some rest.....

    All the best,
    Ilene

    Re: comfortable with triplets

First of all, great job on making it to 27 weeks with triplets!  I carried my twins until I was 38 weeks, 5 days and I know that I was miserable so I can't imagine how you are feeling.  I know that for me, partially sitting up helped A LOT!  If you can sleep in a recliner, I think that might help you feel a bit better.  I hope you find something that helps and good luck with the rest of your pregnancy!

i'll be 33 weeks pg with twins on wed...i've taken to sleeping on the couch some nights..it helps that we have a REALLY deep couch...i bought it for comfort, not just looks!  it's great because it supports my back and my belly...during the day, i'll prop myself up in our papa san which is super comfy and i use throw pillows for more cushion and put my feet up on the coffee table...it's getting to the point i really can't sleep in bed next to my hubby..he just moves too much, keeps taking my blankets i'm using for props (we don't have enough pillows), things like that...
