Our potty training is doing a lot better now! We found the cutest little potty. Well, actually Melanie found it. We were at Wal-Mart and she went and got it off the shelf. She actually sat on it right there and then . In the middle of the isle!! It was so cute I had to buy it for her. Its a little green frog and she loves her "froggy potty" . The day we brought it home she used it 5 times within 2 hours. You should check it out maybe your kids will like it. The design is really cute, but it is a liitle hard for her to sit on it. she likes it though and really tries now. It was cheaper than most of the other models that were there too.

    Re: Introductions

We've had a potty for a few months, but haven't really been pushing the idea.  When I go potty I bring her in and she sits while I sit, but nothing happens with her.  I'm not really pushing the idea until she's 2.  Daddy PT'd DD#1 who's 6, he'll probably do better than me with this one too!

Hi Shaina. I'm not pushing Lanie on her potty unless she wants to. She usually uses it only once or twice a day and it's mostly right before i put her in the tub for her bath. She's already naked and I guess thats when she feels like trying. I didn't even consider PT my boys untill after they were 2 . And my oldest didnt get PT till a week after his 3rd B-Day and I cant even take the credit cause he was at my parents visiting that week. When he came back he was completely trained. Iwasn't even going to try till after Nov and she turned 2, but my aunt had brought over a little potty her gd had outgrown and Lanie started to sit on it. Then I started taking her in with me, and when I'd go shed sit on it too (without using it). So after a couple weeks of dry runs I took the diaper off and she sat on it and used it. But I leave it up to her. Sometimes I ask her if she wants a pamper or a panty and we take it from there. Some days she wants to be a big girl other days a baby. I love that about the age shes at right now. Everythings so sweet, even if its a bad day and all I can get her to say to me in all day is her new favorite word "NO!" LOL!
