Oh, totally normal, especially at this age. She understands what letters she needs, how to write them, and the sequence they go in; her only error is direction. That tells me she knows which letter follows which and is focused on one letter at a time, not the whole word--which is completely understandable to predictable at this age. It should correct itself easily enough.
Jett can spell his name, but not write it. Funny, Bri and I are both teachers, but we're in no hurry. He'll write it when he can write it. So, that Cady is doing even that much is quite good.
