    baby feeding

Hi all, my baby is 6 1/2 months old. I always feed him on fresh orange juice. Does the juice have effects on the kid?

OJ is high in acid, it may give your baby a sour stomach. I don't know if you're giving the baby straight juice, but you may want to water it down. I have a 2 1/2 year old and I still water down his juices and sodas. Juice is really high in sugar.

i have a 3 year old and we water down all his stuff as well (about a 3:1 ratio of water:juice). until children are 6 years old theyre not supposed to get more than 6 oz of juice a day. i also have an 8 month old and his doctor told me not to give him juices until he was a year old because the acidity from the juices was bad for his stomach and can also increase the chances of getting bad diaper rashes.
