Second Pregnancy Symptoms -- Easier to Detect? Earlier Detection?

Do any of you know whether or not a second, or subsequent, pregnancies are easier to detect in yourselves than the first one?  Did you notice your symptoms earlier?  Which ones (symptoms)?

I think I may be pregnant with a second child, but I don't know if it's really a possible pregnancy or just my paranoia.  I'm really torn.  With my first child I thought I had Gallbladder Disease, so I'm not exactly a reliable source for this kind of thing, even for myself.  So I wanted to know if any of you noticed pregnancy symptoms earlier with your second than with your first.

Please let me know either by responding here or via IM.  This is really important.

Hey, I'm not a single parent, but I've had 3 pregnancies(2 children).  My first pregnancy...I was about 4.5-5 weeks along when I finally took a test.  I had noticed that my period was late, that I was nauseus throughout the day, but otherwise, nothing.  I waited a few days, and finally took a test.  It was positive.  I miscarried at 14 weeks, though.  With my second pregnancy, I knew the morning of the day after my missed period.  For example, I was supposed to start on Thursday, I tested Friday morning and it was positive.  I was nauseus all of Thursday night, but the sick feeling would go away if I ate something. I had a baby girl 39 weeks later.  With my third pregnancy I also knew the day after my missed period.  I was nauseus the night before, so I tested the next morning and it was positive.  I had a baby girl 42 weeks later.  :P  My girls are 12 months and 3 weeks apart.

Try taking a test...you can get them cheap at teh dollar store and they work just as good as the wal mart ones.

Aw, I'm so sorry no one is really here to reply to this!  Its been almost 2 weeks already now!  Anyway, I only have the one baby but have had a miscarriage less than a year before getting pregnant with him and the second pregnancy I definitely knew while the first one I had almost no clue until I took the test.  Although my Hcg levels were much higher the second time as the first one wasn't really growing so the levels were staying the same or lower.  I think that has a lot to do with how many symptoms you probably have but who knows.... Anyway, its been 12 days now.... did you test yet?

Yea, I tested last Wednesday.  I took two of those Clear Blue Easy take-home tests and they both confirmed that I'm pregnant.  My period was due last Monday and it's still a no-show so I think the test is right.  Plus, I've got an array of other pregnancy symptoms.

I don't know what I'm going to do.  I'll talk about this in another post.
