    i need advise

well i recently had a baby boy in august and i have very low self estem lately about my body and me and my husband dont really have any physical contact. i have tried to get intimate with him and he seems interested at time but them when we start to get intimate he only thinks about what makes him feel good and not about what i need .most of the time i just lay there and let him finish even if i am not satisfied . and other time s he falls asleep on me while i am on top . i dont really know what to do anymore.i have tryed to tell him that i am not satisfied and what i would like to change in our sex life but he does not seem to care or listen. i get so upset that i would rather go and sleep with my toddler in his room. What should i do??????????

Wow, I'm sorry you're going through this.  Would he be open to couples therapy at all?  It seems like the both of you are really unhappy but neither of you are really telling each other why and you might need some help opening up.

I've heard of problems like this before where men can sense your low self-esteem, and it makes them less likely to want to be intimate. Guys feel better about being intimate with their partners when their partner feels good about themselves. Have you tried other ways to attempt to be intimate with him? Such as wearing lingerie or a lot of foreplay? Maybe you could ask him while you are being intimate to satisfy you. Do you hug/kiss outside of the bedroom? Is there any type of physical contact besides being intimate? If not, there might be other problems that lie deeper than just intimacy and self-esteem. I hope this helps!
