About Tammy

I am 29 years old. My Fiance and I had our first baby on 5-20-08. We named him Christopher David- Michael. I am so blessed to finally be a Mommy. My delivery was everything but smooth. I had an emergency C- Section, because the cord was wrapped around his neck twice. And then they gave me the wrong medicine and ended up paralizing my whole body, which paralyzed my lungs, and damn near killed me. Thank God they figured out why I could no longer breath, and started pumping my lungs. I have a very loving Fiance, and the most precious baby boy in the world.
I am a full time stay at home Mommy. I feel so bad for Mothers that have to leave their baby to go to work. I just could not do it.
My parenting style... I research everything. I research research and research. I listen to Everyone. Then I talk to the Doctor,,, and then I research some more, and then I decide what I feel is best. I think that it is very sad that all of the myths from our past generations are giving this generation such a headache. I for one am Fed Up with hearing that I need to give my baby cereal, and that he shouldnt be standing up yet because he will become bow legged. I breastfed until I felt that I was making him gassy, and I just wasnt producing enough, and then sadly I had to quit. he was about 2 months old. I let him have a pacifie. I actually pull his fingers out of his mouth to give him the pacifier, because he is constantly gagging himself with his fingers. He is still sleeping in my room in his co-sleeper WHICH IS THE BEST INVENTION ON EARTH!!! All of his naps during the day however, are in his own room, in his crib, and he is fine with that. I think that it should be different rules for different kids. They are all individuals, and they should be treated that way. For my son, I use a bottle to get him to sleep most of the time, because he was staying up for 20 out of 24 hours a day for the first 2 months. Now I have learned how to get him to sleep, and I am using it. Anyways There are pictures of my family at my Myspace which can be found by using this email address Tmylyn01@wowway.com That is not my email address anymore but it will help you locate us at myspace.
