Well, I am on the July 2008 board I was not here very often or very long. So, Yesterday I threw up (sorry) just like I did last year at this time..... Hmmm... This morning about 5a.m. I peed on a stick, faint plus sign..... Hmmm..... I go to the lab get some blood drawn, call back an hour later and bingo, bango!!!! Madi is going to be a big sister. We are expecting baby number two! We want to have our children close together and I am Very excited, however I am in SHOCK. I have only been home a month now and we are already pregnant???!!!! Well, I have my first visit on Thursday and will get more details then. I believe we are looking at another July Baby! Is Mad going to be ok? Am I going to be as sick this time? Can my tummy get any bigger than it did last time? Is Mad going to be ok? Just a few questions that keep running through my head already...... A little about me: My baby girl, Madilyn James (my dad’s name) was born on 5 July 2008. I hoped for a NATURAL child birth and thought throughout my pregnancy that this would be possible. I was in Labor for seven Days! Yes, I did say days. Contractions were never longer than 10 minutes apart and I really tried to have her the way I thought would be best with no drugs or interventions. Long story short, I started Labor on Sunday and by Saturday night my doc said we had to get her out. I never dilated past 3 cm and my water had broken a number of hours earlier. I had a TBI from an accident a number of years ago and this may have been the culprit. I also had a spinal injury so I could not have an epi, I had to have a General Anesthetic (Knocked Out) C-section, so I was not able to see my daughter being born nor was my husband as no one was allowed in the operating room. She weighed 8lbs 8oz and was 20 1/2 inch she is by far the most amazing thing I have ever been a part of. I was very sick with Madi (healthy, just threw up all the time!!!!). I lost my dad to cancer- Cancer SUCKS..... Just six weeks after she was born. I have been married for just over three years and we are Military (Air Force). Madi is our first baby and we are looking forward to baby number two.... Good luck to everyone and baby Dust for all!!!!
