Idea [I] If you have had a m/c before please read I have questions

Hey ladies- I was just curious about something. I bled for 3 days Tuesday,Wed,Thurs just like a period. Then Saturday I was spotting a little pink. Sunday a tad bit of brown then this morning spotting red.

Did any of you spot? Or do you bleed for a certain amount of time? So I know what is expected! Thanks!

when I had my m/c at 5 wks, I spotted brownish red for a couple of days then it was really heavy for two days and then it went back to light/spotting for about a week.  It's different for everyone.  All has to do with how quickly all the pregnancy was expelled and how quickly your hcg levels go down.

I'm so sorry for your loss, firstly. Hugs xx Both of my pregnancies ended in m/c.. First one was at 8 wks or so, I bled for about 10 days or so with huge clots most of the time. The second was a chemical pregnancy (my hcg was 6 by the time I had the blood test) and it was mostly just like my period was 3 days late. Those are just my experiences, but I'm sure every m/c and person is different. As for trying again, I waited 1 cycle after the first - took an hpt the second cycle to make sure the hcg was gone so I wouldn't have a false positive just in case. Hope this helps!

First let me say that I am so sorry for your loss. My first misscarriage was at 5 w 3 days and I only had any real "bleeding" for 2 - 4 days and then some spotting (from what I remember) that varied from pink to an ugly brown. The second mc was at 9 weeks and with it we had a d & c at what would have been 10 weeks. I only had light bleeding from that one. I think it depends on the person and the hcg levels etc. Our dr told us that she felt a couple should start the ttc cycle again on their own terms, she said in her experience most dr's that recommend a 3 month wait do so mostly for the mother's emotional healing. She said every couple is different. Hope this helps in some small way.

Hey hun - it's totally normal for your BETAs to keep rising until the mc is complete.  With my last loss - I was at 355 or something and when I went 2 days later, it was up to 410 but the baby definitely wasn't growing.  My doc said your body will still produce hormones if you are techinically still pregnant but they won't double like they are supposed to.  It was hard to get closure though until the numbers were going down.  My bleeding was different all 3 times.  One, very heavy - lots of clotting, 2nd like a period, 5 days and the last - mild dpotting, few days of bleeding, more spotting.  Totally weird.

    I'm so sorry honey...

You're so welcome - I remember that driving me crazy.  I called my Mom and was like - how can this be happening??  Maybe the baby isn't gone and here I'm taking these meds to force a m/c.  I ended up calling the doc back and went back for another ultrasound because I didn't believe him.  He did the ultrasound to make me feel better but then explained all the number stuff to me.  It took almost 2 months to get back to 0 for me - everyone is different.

When I had my second m/c they doc told me the numbers can still go up as long as the placenta is still attached. So once that goes away they should start going down. So sorry for your loss. They totally SUCK! Hope you recover quickly and get a BFP as soon as you are ready!

I was 5 weeks when I had mine last month. I started the m/c process on a wednesday. I bled very heavily with several large clots for 3-4 days and spotted for 2 days after that. My BETA was 3 the day I started bleeding. They were at zero a week later. I'm so sorry for your loss!
