What day should I start using the softcups??

So this month I am going to start using the softcups and digital opk's. Since I don't temp and have never used opk's I don't know when I O. According to my cycle if I O on day 14 it should be around the 7th. I am on CD 10 and I am going to get the softcups today. But what day should I start using them??? How long should I leave them in? I will find out on the 19th how my progesterone levels are to see if I'm ovulating properly. If not then the gyn is putting me on clomid. It feels like forever since I've been able to ttc since I couldn't this last month because I had surgery for endo.

Re: What day should I start using the softcups??

I'm not sure if your opk's are like the strips I got from early-pregnancy-tests.com, but you should start testing every day from about 5 days before you think you are going to O. Once the test is positive, you should O within 24-48 hrs. (Some say 24-36, but my strips say 48) as for the softcups, I use them every time I BD.. They are cheap enough, it can't hurt, it keeps things "clean" LOL, and since spermies can live a few days or more inside you .. Might as well keep as many as you can from finding its way out. :). I put them in after BD, leave in while I sleep, and then take out in the morning. If you BD during the day, leave them in 6-8 hours. The packaging says up to 12 hours.if you don't want to use them everytime, use them during your O week (before and during O), I use them all the time, since DH is only home on weekends and we don't always catch O. Hope this helps! FX you get your bfp using them!!
